6.1 earthquake jolts northern India, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

NEW DELHI: A magnitude 6.1 earthquake was felt in the Delhi-NCR region and the rest of northern India on Wednesday at around 12:40 pm.

The epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

The earthquake was also felt in central Afghanistan, Pakistan and eastern Uzbekistan.
