Flying back to India? You can now carry ₹75,000 worth of goods duty-free — here's what the new baggage rules say
The Indian government has increased the duty-free limit for travellers to ₹75,000 from ₹50,000. The new baggage rules, effective from 2 February 2026, apply to Indian residents and tourists.
